Approach

Ameridan's approach leverages deal experience, industry knowledge & networks, and proven due-diligence methodologies. Ameridan project teams understand which questions need to be asked and have developed techniques to ensure they get the answers.

Ameridan's project teams:

1. Understand the industry context ex-ante. Going into an assignment, Ameridan project teams already have an understanding of the key dynamics in the marketplace, positioning of major competitors and the strategic and competitive issues facing the company.

2. Use proven methodologies to rigorously analyze company sales & customer data, relevant financial reports, strategic plans and other internal data. These methodologies, developed specifically for strategic due-diligence purposes, focus on uncovering and assessing key strategic/competitive strengths and weaknesses.

3. Understand that some of the most critical information resides in the knowledge, opinions, and feelings of company management, customers, suppliers and competitors. Ameridan's approach stresses first hand information gleaned from an extensive interview program. The process includes in-person interviews with company personnel across several levels of management and functional lines. In addition, Ameridan conducts phone interviews with customers, suppliers, and competitors. These interviews are designed to get answers to specific strategic/competitive questions while maintaining the confidentiality of the players and the process.

4. Triangulate to uncover critical issues and find answers. Ameridan synthesizes the information and findings from company documents, secondary industry data, and interviews to draw relevant, actionable conclusions.
