In early 2006, Monomoy Capital Partners was evaluating a potential controlling investment in Republic Storage Systems Company ("Republic"). Republic is a leading manufacturer of lockers available in variety of configurations to suit corridor, athletic room and other applications. In addition, the Company manufactures a line of industrial storage products including clip shelving, boltless shelf framing systems, racks, metal lumber slotted angle, automotive shelving, cabinets, book units and shop furniture.

Ameridan's Role:

As part of its overall due-diligence process, Monomoy engaged Ameridan to perform strategic and competitive due-diligence.

Ameridan's due-diligence engagement focused on assessing: (1) customer views of the Company's capabilities and value proposition relative to its major competitors; (2) points of competitive differentiation and customer switching costs; and (3) customer perceptions of Republic's quality and service levels.

The engagement was successfully completed in March, 2006. Monomoy announced an agreement to acquire the assets of Republic on March 14, 2006.
